Do you livestream drones during the ceremony?
Yes, and unlike other companies who discourage it, in most cases we strongly encourage the use of drones for livestreamed outdoor wedding ceremonies. The perspective from the drone makes the viewing experience much more enjoyable for your friends and family watching at home. Having a drone also allows you to showcase your wedding venue, something your guests would not normally get to see.
Noise levels are often a concern, for us they are not. You and your guests will not hear or be interrupted from any of our drones. We are owners and operators of the quietest drone on the market, 30-40% quieter. However it's not the drone that makes the difference, it's how it's used.
How is it used? Well, we consider that intel as part of our super secret formula to our NO BORING VIDEOS policy, so you'll have to give us a call to find out more.
Do you recommend more than one camera for our livestream?
Yes. Three cameras is better than two, and six is better than four - more cameras will always be better. If that weren't the case, the NFL or the Golden Globe Awards would only be using three cameras.
To us, the number of cameras used is so critical to producing a quality livestream, all of our packages include a minimum of four cameras. You won't find this at any other company.
We are not using microphones during our ceremony, will our guests watching our livestream be able to hear us?
Yes. We use professional grade wireless lavalier microphones on the officiant, groom, bride, and father of the bride.
The very best lavalier microphones, like the one's we use, are small, unobtrusive, sonically superior, and 100% invisible on camera. According to Countryman, "they bring the highest-quality audio available in a lavalier mic". The microphones we use, are the very best at picking up nothing more than your voice while at the same time, rejecting surrounding noise and feedback. Helping you to be heard without effort, and allowing you to speak in a way that is pleasant for you, and your guests listening online.
Will we see microphones in our video and photos?
Never. We know that lavalier microphones, even the small ones like we use, are tacky and unpleasing to look at. And we will never let them be seen on camera, at your ceremony location, or in your wedding photos.
There are always exceptions, for example musicians and vocalists, but as a "strict" general rule, microphones or cables of any sort are always hidden, never to be seen. This goes for normal microphones, microphone stands, microphone cables, power cords, speaker cables, camera cables, etc..
We have worked in many of the most exclusive luxury resorts in the country like Ritz-Carltons, JW Marriotts, Four Seasons, along with properties like Rancho Valencia, Monarch, and Hotel Del Coronado. From these resorts, we have learned from, and now borrowed, their strict audio visual and decor installation guidelines and best practices, making them our own operating procedures.
So rest assured, your ceremony location and surrounding area will remain looking beautiful, clean, and free of ugly equipment and cables.
